407 Continuous Extension to Hwy 35/115 Letter of Support

Your Voice Matters!

On Tuesday, June 8th the Province announced that Hwy 407 would be extended to Simcoe Street in Oshawa and later stated it would eventually reach Hwy 35/115.

The 407's incremental construction model will have a discouraging impact on our existing business community and will stall growth exponentially – this will promote deceleration of development and access to Clarington and GTA.

We encourage you to make your voice heard on your opinion and support of the 407 being constructed as a continuous project extending to Hwy 35/115 by downloading the letter template (click here to access), customizing it as sent by you, addressing it to each individual on the Contact List (click here to access) and mailing it to each contact person.  The Clarington Board of Trade has already sent a letter voicing our concerns with regard to the Province's decision for incremental construction, we encourage you to do the same as a collective voice will greatly assist in encouraging the Province and it's representatives to consider extending the 407 to the 35/115 as a continuous project.

Thank you for your time and cooperation. Representing your best interests in business growth,
