Buying and celebrating local food has never been easier!  Support Clarington producers as well as the restaurants preparing local dishes.

Home to almost 400 workings farms and with strengths in food processing, agriculture is a large part of Clarington’s economy. Coming this August, CBOT’s fourth annual Clarington Food Week – a time to celebrate those who grow, produce, harvest, buy and sell local food.

How can you participate?

Are you a local restaurant? 

Use locally grown food in a dish of your choosing (appetizer, dinner plate, dessert, etc..) or in an entire menu specific to ‘Clarington Food Week’. We will promote your restaurant prior to Clarington Food Week and during the week itself.

Are you a local farmer/producer?

Let us know about any specials or sales you will be holding for Clarington Food Week. We will promote your business!

Are you a Clarington resident?

Share a photo of a dish you prepared using local ingredients or a menu item you ordered from a participating restaurant. Use the hashtag #CFW2020 so we can share your photo!

Clarington Food Week will be celebrated on August 17th – 23rd.  If you are a restaurant or farmer located in Clarington and would like to participate please contact Adam, Business Development Lead at [email protected] or call the CBOT office at (905)-623-3106.
