Are you looking to hire students for summer 2022? Durham College co-op students are the perfect candidates to meet seasonal staffing needs. Starting their work terms straight from the classroom, DC students are eager to learn and contribute their training and knowledge of best practices in their field.What is co-op?Co-op requires students to work in full-time, paid roles that are directly related to their college program for 4 months between May and August 2022. Employers benefit since they can get students to fill in for summer vacations, take on projects, contribute fresh ideas, and take on contract temporary roles to serve their organization’s needs. Wages must meet at least the minimum hourly provincial wage requirements.Hire from 20+ programs:  *   Business: Accounting; Finance; Human Resources; Marketing; Supply Chain and Operations Management  *   Engineering Technician / Technology: Civil; Electromechanical; Mechanical  *   Hospitality: Event Planning; Hospitality; Tourism  *   Law: Law Clerk Advanced  *   Information Technology: Artificial Intelligence (work term); Computer Programming; Computer Systems  *   Sciences: Environmental Technology; Water Quality Technician  *   Skilled Trades: Building Construction Technician; Carpentry and Renovation Technician; Millwright; WeldingGovernment funding is available to support your co-op hiring. With the Ontario Co-operative Education Tax Credit, you may receive a credit of up to $3,000 per co-op work term.
