Bonnie Wrightman
Executive Director
A 24-year resident of Clarington and mom of 21 and 16 year-old boys, Bonnie is passionate about her community and being part of an organization supporting the goals and growth of business. Finding her home at the Clarington Board of Trade in 2008, she is dedicated to listening to businesses, encouraging collaboration, being a resource and advocating for what matters to business. As Executive Director, Bonnie is responsible for stakeholder and government relations, strategy development, oversees CBOT program development and loves to indulge in one of her favourite foods in Clarington – jerk chicken poutine at Star Apples!
Rhonda Armour
Manager, Business & Member Care
Rhonda leads all things membership at CBOT from onboarding and retention, to advocacy, support, and connection. She listens closely to members, shares valuable resources, promotes local businesses, and fosters meaningful collaboration. With 15 years of entrepreneurial experience, Rhonda truly understands the business journey, making her a relatable and trusted resource. Through her Rhonda on the Road initiative, she visits members in person to stay connected and ensure their voices are heard. She’s always happy to chat whether it’s answering questions, sharing ideas, or just a friendly hello! Outside of work, Rhonda is passionate about health and wellness, loves to travel, and is an avid walker. But most of all, she’s a proud mom to her two amazing daughters.
Erika Mask
Manager, Marketing &
Communication
A lifelong Clarington resident, Erika joined the CBOT team in 2022 and leads Marketing and Communications, overseeing everything from social media and the e-bulletin to advertising and graphic design. Whether it’s creating bold sponsor signage or crafting engaging presentations, Erika brings a love of visual storytelling to everything she does. She’s passionate about helping local businesses stand out and stay connected through clear, creative communication. Outside of work, Erika is a mom to two busy toddlers, a dedicated Swiftie, and always has a creative project on the go.
Alyssa Crittenden
Events & Projects Lead
Since 2023, Alyssa has been a part of the CBOT team and currently serves as the Events and Projects Lead. In her role, she oversees the planning and execution of CBOT events, including collaborative initiatives with Invest Clarington, as well as a variety of special projects that support business retention in Clarington. Alyssa is passionate about creating meaningful experiences through CBOT events and supporting the growth of local businesses. Whether you have questions about upcoming events, registration, or simply want to brainstorm a great idea for an event, Alyssa is your go-to contact! Outside of work, you’ll often find her exploring local restaurants or curled up with a fantasy book
