Kirsten began her career in the electricity industry in 1997 with Ontario Hydro.
After spending numerous years with Ontario Hydro as a Human Resource Analyst, she moved to a challenging opportunity within the manufacturing industry spending 10 years prospering as a Business Analyst within General Motors of Canada, overseeing projects relating to plant operations province wide.
For the past 14 years, Kirsten has been back within the hydro industry and responsible for the relationships between Elexicon Energy and Elexicon Energy’s business customers from all sectors and sizes, along with Stakeholder engagement, effectively growing, expanding and developing relationships as one of Elexicon Energy’s Community Relation Advisors. She is a member of Elexicon’s Health and Safety Ergonomics team and has also held different volunteer positions with the Canadian Cancer Society and Rotary International.
As resident of Bowmanville for the past 23 years, she is passionate about Clarington and its businesses housed within and understands the importance of collaboration to build a strong economy in Clarington. Now more than ever, the importance of Clarington Board of Trade and their offering’s resonates and understands businesses are all working hard to provide a safe, comfortable environment for their customers during these unprecedented times.
