About

Us

Your trusted resource, advocate, and platform for businesses to connect, collaborate, learn, promote, and thrive.

We're focused on supporting business.

The Clarington Board of Trade (CBOT) is a not-for-profit, membership-based organization proudly serving businesses in the Municipality of Clarington – Courtice, Bowmanville, Newcastle, Orono and rural communities, as well as businesses who want to serve these communities.

We provide the platform, programming, and opportunities for businesses to connect, learn, mentor, advocate, promote themselves, and grow. CBOT also has a close relationship with all levels of government and community partners to ensure the voice of business is heard on issues that matter most.

We are driven to meet the needs of business, proud to be a primary resource for all business-related matters and strive to ensure businesses and stakeholders receive value through their relationship with CBOT, whether they are a member or not. Membership is offered as a tool to enhance business engagement and reflects the important collective contribution of business to the shared story and voice of community.

We are proud to implement a collaborative approach to business prosperity and invite you to join us, contribute to and celebrate Clarington’s strength and success.
